Binning and Matched Pair
Tecate Group offers binning and matched pair test services for SMT and through-hole capacitors at its San Diego, CA, facility. Through the development of its own proprietary test algorithm, Tecate Group is able to provide precision tolerance capacitors for various frequency-tuning, notched-filter, and bridge-network-balancing applications. Multiple readings are taken on each device to ensure no out-of-bin failures. This ability to tightly group capacitance values allows end users to efficiently make final circuit adjustments using high-speed active resistor trimming at the board level.
Binning Capabilities
- Up to 100 bins
- Bin range down to 0.1%
- Bin tolerance of +/- 0.05%
Matched Pair Capabilities
- Pairs of capacitors matched to within 0.002 to 0.005%
- Each pair delivered in a single bag with a unique serial number and capacitance readings of both capacitors in the pair
- Original readings kept electronically
- Matched triplets (three capacitors) also available
